Artevaggio is a resource for artist entrepreneurs run by Samantha (me) & Jim Meeker (my husband), to teach you about running an online art business.
We hope that through our blog, podcasts, courses and other social media venues, we will be able to help one another as we grow and aspire as artists.
Who are Samantha & Jim Meeker?
I (Samantha) am the wearer of many hats, including being a mom, web designer & developer, online marketer, podcaster and artist. It’s a lot I know but it keeps it v-e-r-y interesting.
Besides running this business, I do have a full time job in the corporate world as a web developer. Oh yes, I’m also a fine art figurative painter, and received me BFA in Painting & Design from Savannah College of Art & Design (LOVED this school FYI).
Jim handles the podcast editing, social media content and many administrative tasks. He recently retired from teaching full time after 25+ years in public education. He deserves a badge of honor and a less stressful job…like helping me at Artevaggio. 🙂
In our spare time, we love spending time with our family at home or around town.
How did Artevaggio start?
It started as an idea when I was still in art school back in 2007. Slowly I built the online art gallery and later it became a combination of brick & mortar and online. It was SO much fun. A lot of work but one of the favorite times in my art career.
Unfortunately, the physical location closed last year and we decided to continue Artevaggio as an online resource for artists.
We had met so many artists that needed help with getting their online business up and running. Having a great marketing plan and online presence will significantly boost art sales and followers with consistency.
So with that, I thank you for stopping by and I hope we can connect through my website or on social media.
Here is a CHEERS to your success with your online art entrepreneurial journey!
